Concerned Jenner citizens, worried about the continuing long-term threat
that two timber harvest plans (THP) pose to their domestic water system,
and to the very quality of their drinking water, crowded into the small
conference room on January 29, 2001 at the Santa Rosa office of the
California Department of Forestry (CDF) for what is officially termed the
Second Review of THP 1-00-040 SON. The meeting was scheduled to be CDF's final hearing on the application by the THP proponent, Sonoma Coast
Associates (SCA), for logging on 245 acres. This THP and another pending
THP application filed by Russian River Redwoods (RRR) for harvesting
adjacent acreage encompass one third of the entire Jenner Creek watershed
on the old Rule Ranch located on the hills immediately above the town of
Jenner.

It is great to hear from all of you. Now I will try to find some information to make this site interesting for you.
